LSX iron blocks
Sponsors: How about you guys, got one that has been fully gone through and checked out OK?
Decided to go Weber Racing 427ci + S91, but they told me the other day that they have no LSX iron blocks in right now, that are good anyway. They said they would do the weld-in bolt holes on a 6.0L iron block to work with the ETP 6 bolt heads...but I'd rather have an LSX iron. If I can't find one I'll go with their modified 6.0L block (403ci or 408ci) as I'm sure if they say the welds will hold, they will.
Anyone?????????

Talk about dropping the ball on the LSX program. warhawk might be a nice solution. and as said above, once you start having to mod the 6.0 iron block its going to cost as much as the warhawk.

Forget the WarHawk. I'll just have to keep looking for an LSX iron or do the modified 6.0L block.
And about dropping sleeves: Why can't a sleeve be screwed or anchored somehow to the cylinder walls?
Or how about threading the cylinder walls and screwing the sleeves in?
