I know 12600325 cover with brown sensor will work with sprocket 12576407 and Cam Chain Damper 12588670.

Dont know what difference there is between 12600325 and the 2008 LS3 front cover 12600326 is all.

Don't know if this answers you question, but the 326 is set up for DOD system (Displacment on demand). I don't know if you can use it wiht a LS1 PCM, or for that matter even a LS2 PCM that didn't have DOD.

You will have to get or make an extension from your harness to the relocated knock sensors (they get moved to the sides of the block itself) and also the cam sensor (which is now located on the timing cover), that diagram shows that the early batch of Katch conversion harnesses had the brown and pink wires to the cam sensor switched and that is how you would correct that problem.

or does "a" go to "a"
and "b" to "b"
and c to c.

or what?

like form my factory harness. to the new sensors. does the the wires switch?

The 326 timing cover will cause problems with starting and throw a cam sensor code on a LS1 vehicle.

Anyone check the part number on the cam sensor? I have an extra one from an LS2 front cover if someone is interested. Its the black one, not the whiteish/yellow one.

Elky: You use the 325 cover, with correct upper timing sprocket, with the wires swapped.

You can just extend your stock harness and cross the wires, or buy a plug'n'play extension harness that crosses the wires for you and plugs right in.

Such as this:
