Default LS2 Corvette vs LS2 Trailblazer

What are the internal differences between the LS2 in the Corvette and the LS2 in the Trailblazer SS??

I thought they were the same except the Efan and some tunning. I think the GTO's are the same but the alternator bracket. Could be wrong though.

Edit, and i know the intakes are differnt but thats not internal

Intake and exhaust manifolds are different. Internally, they're the same. The pcm tune is a little different too.

TrailBlazer has lower cam lift also in their LS2 like .500/.500 compared to .5xx/.5xx I think
.525/.525 thats why some guys with engine replacements find 25 more hp in the new GM crate replacements. LOL

FYI: Just so you know, the reluctor wheel in a 2006 TBSS has 24 teeth, 07~08 have the 58..

Right indeed.

And yes, the TBSS has a clutch fan.
No GTO or Vette LS2 should be priced higher than a TBSS LS2, where are you seeing the difference in prices? Is milage the price offsetting factor?

I dont think so. I remember seeing some guy selling 3 TB LS2s in the forsale thread and I believe he sold 2 of them to one guy for $4500. I'm not sure if that's shipped. I think that is extremely cheap. That is where I got the idea from.

So both the Vette & TB have flat top pistons? I heard the Vette has dished where TB is flat...

Yes and watch for the 24x crank wheels in the 06'! They did the same thing with the 5.3l Trailblazers and the 24x/58x madness.
