DD with a 50 gallon drum? Maybe strip the interior not for weight reduction but for extra fuel tanks?

Shoot we'll be filling up, start the car, bring the RPMs up, and then top off again!

I am even scared to figure out my chevy stepside with a 391 (carbuerated). It has a 4 speed auto with 4.11 rear. If you are asking you probably cant afford to drive it as a DD

I didn't realize there was so much effort into getting paydays as a pimp? Must be that mandated health care and dental plans for all of the employees?

$60 just to get to the gas pump and back to the car port... There goes that $12,000 credit limit on the Shell card...

I don't know what kind of mileage you'll get, but I have the motor, heads, and ITB intake ready to go if you have the cash.....All new.

I don't think he's listening anymore. (insert sounds of crickets chirping here) Mabe he was just stirring you guys up. A thread started with: lsx 454 and gas mileage is a sure fire way of getting someones attention. Just like 900hp and street behavior. lol Anyways this is the spice of life isn't it. Humor does get us going doesn't it.

why aren't you building it?

How much for the Harrop?
What size TB's did you get?
Does it include everything possible to work? (linkages, mounts and air filters)

If you can afford to build a big inch LSX, you can afford the gas for it.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replys. The engine will be retrod into an old aussie muscle car. Im from western australia so whats available and what i know isnt that broad.

What would be a better choice for gearbox? What 5 or 6 speeds would suit?

Will be running a standalone emc so will be down tuning for dd duties.

Its a 73 holden kingswood will be posting big buildup in few months. People pay 70k aud for a pontiac g8 with a ls3. Im going to build my dream car that i will give my kids, for less.
Thanks
