Just a little correction here...

The block is a 4.060, You clean it up .005 to make it a 4.070 and put a 4" stroke crank in it to make a 416. A stock crank is 3.62.

Sticking an ls2 crank in there does not make a "stroker"

Quoted for truth!

They're 4.065" from the factory Also, the LS2 crank is the same 3.622" stroke as your LS1 crank, so throwing it in there will not yield any favorable results. Also, although not many people go .030" over on the L92 as of yet, we are doing some R&D on it and it looks promising! We have a L92 422ci short-block that we should have some firm numbers on (sonic testing and such) very soon!

TSP and I have stated it correctly. You need to use a 4" stroke crank to make a stroker.

Then you need a 4.000" stroke crank here is a link to one.
http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=105&catid=37

That will give you the extra stroke you need to make a stroker motor

No LS motor comes with a 4" stroke crank the you can use also you have to at least hone the block like stated above and get pistons for the new stroke. so you need pistons for a 4.070" bore and a 4.000" stroke.

Actually, the LS7 427 comes equipped with a 4" crank

4.065"x4.0" = 415
4.080"x4.0" = 418
4.10"x4.0" = 422

4.065"x4.1" = 426
4.080"x4.1" = 429
4.10"x4.1" = 433
