Here's one, pump gas, hyd roller cam 402 with TFS 225's goes 9's on motor, like Gimp98TNT said, the TFS 235's should make more power than that.

You may have to right click "save target as"

Yeah the dyno numbers are going to look weaker than the combo actually is. Our Iron block 408 put down 538/500 before tweaking the 5.3 heads a bit more, but that was through a locked TC with a 4L60E. The engine and heads were done right and the cam was a perfect match.

We were a little over 3400#s with 3.90 gears when we ran our first 9 second pass, but the air was pretty good. It's a hyd pump gas set up. I wouldn't say the cam is small, but by todays standards it is. It's very comfortable to drive.

We are right at sea level here. That needs to be factored in.

This setup is 402 cubes, Dart 225cc, a small custom cam by [***] which is smaller than most of those big stock bottom end cams.

It's in a C5 w/ M6 trans. and headers. Wiggins is not known for happy dyno numbers.

The red lines are after a very special/good valve job but with less SCR than out of the box Darts (blue) which had 12.5 SCR and some race gas. Red line is pump gas and 11:1 SCR.

Your setup is almost exactly like what mine's going to be. Everyone's been telling me TFS 235's so that's the leading candidate for heads. Im also looking at Vengeance Racing for a custom grind. I just haven't yet decided if Im going to go solid roller, how much Im going to spray ie..A 9" and TH400 are going to be eating up some power for sure though. Im going to be using a transbrake just as you are..

I can't wait to get this setup rolling..
