What are the best lifters for my car?
Well my car is a DD and I make trips to south carolina from delaware a few times a year. So reilabilty is very important. The cam is a 232/234 with595/598lift on a 112LSA. I am going to buy trickflow 225s in july. I have already got yellaterra 1.7 non adjustableRR. And so far the only good lifters I,ve found through searching are the gmpp caddy racing lifters. If anyone has had good or bad experince with new lifters let me know thanks John

I know but I want to have a killer valvetrain in combo with the yella terraRR and new valve spring that are coming in the TFS. I guess the LS7 lifters will be okay but the caddy racing sounds awesome.

go with ls7's caddy's are a waste of money. i have heard of many of them failing, and i would never even think of spinning them to 8200rpms thats asking for things to beak. remember you get what you pay for. if you want to go to 8200 rms morels are the only way to go.

This isnt even close. But as pointed out earlier its all about how your going to use the engine.
The Morels is much much better. Have a lifter come apart and it could take out the whole motor. LS7 and Caddy lifters arent a race lifter. IF your going to spining hi rpms with heavy spring pressures you want a lifter that wont fall apart.
The Morels have bigger axles, bigger wheels, better bodies, they are just that much better and well worth the money if your going to be thrashing your engine. Just one of those parts that if you have an issue you wish you did it differently.
But lets face it start spinning a stock bottom end that high and you'll have more than the lifters to worry about ..LOL
dont waste your money on the caddys lifers, do a search theres been more than one person with issue with them

I am not going to shift at 8000rpms or anything crazy like that. I shift mostly at 6500 and 6700 sometimes in third to help when I,m running someone thats very close ( 1/2 car) . But the car is babyd most of its life on the highway at 1700rpm in 6th. So all I really want to do is complement the new yella terras/valvesprings/pushrods by haveing a very good lifter. I think the LS7 or caddy racing will be it because I don,t want to spend the $ for morels. So What would be more reliable for a H/C daily driver? The LS7 or caddy racing?

And Fran I just ordered the aem wideband and banshee guage pod. What other guage should I get to fill in the other hole? I,m thinking oil pressure. Why gm sent the gto over here without one when its aussie sibling has one is beyond me.
