Heath,
The cam you described (248/260-112) should work very well actually..... with 2 minor changes. Put a little less lift in the intake (.570-.580") and a little more on the exhaust (.650-.670") and it should work great.

I would try something like this 240/252 on a 112 installed on a 108ic

when you are done paying to get some other recomendations lets see how close I am ?

I KNOW OF 3 CARS RUNNING THIS CAM 246/260 111LS WITH 416 AND RUNNING HIGH NINES NA AT 3200LBS AND 4.11 GEARS ?
West Tech in Fontana? Who is this?

Comp does damn good at grinding cams. I would also recommend going with more on the exhaust as these Ls engines have characteristics really similar to a sbf(gasp!) and they like 10-20 more lift on the exhaust as well as 8-10 degree split duration cams.

Chevy High did a story a little while back on a 402" LS2 with unported Dart 225's, victor jr intake, 11:1 compression and a 600lift hydraulic roller and it made 583hp and 530tq. Here is the link:

http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...ests/dyno.html

the cam was
Manufacturer Comp Cams
Part Number 54-448-11
Type Hydraulic roller
Valve lift 0.605/0.609 inch, intake/exhaust(factory rockers)
Duration at 0.050 238/240 degrees, intake/exhaust
Lobe separation 112 degrees
