Pictures--- Cary @ Performance Inductions Single plane Vs. Victor Jr.
This past weekend, I made the trip up to Detroit to pick up the parts for my new race motor. I've been dealing with Cary @ Performance Induction Specialties for the past few months, and also Kelley at Thomson Automotive. Between those 2 shops, I now have everything to build my new motor with the exception of the pushrods.
Here are some pictures comparing Cary's intake with my old Victor Jr. setup. Cary's intake will be sent out within the next week or so to get plumbed.
I'll let you guys figure out what kind of heads these are for. All you need to know is they flowed 425 cfm @ .900 lift. And yes, the low lift numbers were phenominal too.
On to the pictures.....

Badass. It would be interesting to see how it stacks up against the much taller Super Victory intake too.

I've seen both, but don't have pictures. Like I said above, there is no comparison between Cary's intake and either the Super Vic or Victor Jr. Its like comparing apples to oranges. You get what you pay for from Cary, thats for certain.

Looks like a better designed piece, but that's what you'd expect.
In all fairness, the Vic Jr would look a lot better internally if it had been gone thru with sanding rolls like the Cary.

Cary's intake has alot more done than just sand rolls. WHen I met with him last friday, he showed me some AS-CAST intakes and there is a ton of material to remove. That Victor JR. still made good power for what it was....but the new one will be alot better overall.
