Default Holden CR8 HSV LS2 M6 Supercharger Question.

Hey,

A good friend of mine owns this car. Not me. and he asked me to look around for a good twin screw supercharger for him. It is not his daily drive car.

So I need to know what is the Twin Screw that everyone is using ? and also what set of Long Tube headers do you guys recommend for this car ?

It is from the middle east and Australia only.

Thanks.

Harrop makes a 112 for the LS2. A lot of guys run that.

Kooks Signature series headers are the best out there for the GTO/ Monaro. Harrop and Magnuson are probably the most popular blowers.

G8 style vehicles use a different Header -vs- the 04-06 GTO I do believe.

It doesn't matter so much on what LS motor your are using the exhaust ports are the same on the LS2/L76. The main difference is the routing in the engine bay for the exhaust tubes (GTO headers route around the steering nuckle and the driver side header is a PITA to install).

The Harrop and Magnuson SC for LS1/LS2 style heads should work. Might want to have your friend check around on the Holden forums and talk to some of the Australian's that have already gone through the installs to find part numbers and what to look out for in the installs.

Harrop HH122 on LS2 in VE Clubsport (Rebadged here as Vauxhaul VXR8)

Search Youtube for "Wortec VXR8" the 9 min vid.
or "gW52JGR1db8"
Watch 3:20 onwards

Get 1 7/8" headers from USA to suit Pontiac G8 as they will better fit a left hand drive car.....and be cheaper than from Australia.
