I have heard good things about HKE also. I have TSP 402 with no complaints. Do some research and you will find Sunset Racecraft does most, if not all short blocks for TSP and Scoggin Dickey. And THEY DO MAKE BIG POWER for some of the biggest and baddest out there.

For the best there are 3 people.

LME
Kurt Urban- Formerly of W2W
Billy Briggs- Formerly of W2W

These guys are responsible for almost all the 7 sec LS powered Monsters.

To the list above, I think Thomson Automotive should be added too.

I'm probably going to be going with a combination of Kurt Urban and Thomson Automotive on my new build.

I'd say HKE or TSP. I've seen them put out some impressive short blocks.

i will toss Lingenfelter in the pool, you can buy a short block from them- to your door. one thing you will know, the machine work, assembly are 100% perfect. their engine-assembly shop is like an opperating room, you can eat off the floor. i know of many lingenfelter engines that have 40k-50k miles of road racing- thousand of quarter mile passes and tens of thousand of hard street miles and they are as good as new- leak down and compression numbers.
