Anyone happen to have access to the gm part numbers for the new 6.6L LT8 accessory drive and water pump? It uses a power steering pump as well as center mount “LS” style water pump. Figured be cheaper to get the LT8 setup vs spending $400 on the LT to LS waterpump brackets. $300 for brackets and $100 for pump too.

pulley is same for all truck applications
I have a new L87 long block that I need to add the accessory drive to. The L87 utilizes the same water pump as the L8T. Most of the part numbers to get me there are already posted within this thread. However, I do not have the part numbers for the idler pulleys and tensioner for the L8T accessory drive. Does someone here have that information handy? Also, what is the part number for the belt that is used (assuming the power steering pump listed above is used)?
Lastly, I also need all of the part numbers to mount the A/C pump/compressor. Any help there, too?

I haven’t seen the 6.6 gasser in person yet, but the pictures I’ve seen show two alternators?

It's hard for me to narrow down the exact parts because my system pulls up every engine available for a truck. If I had a VIN that came with 6.6 gasser, it will give me exact parts. We've only had a few here at my dealership. It's nice to be in parts dept now vs turning wrenches.

Here's a VIN number for a 2021 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.6 gasser, single battery and alternator. Can you post the parts breakdown for the tensioner and idlers? Thanks!!
The dual alternator is a option also with dual batteries. When I ordered my 2021 GMC 3500hd reg cab I did not check that box.
Good to know. I’ve seen 2500 trucks, both gas and duramax with dual batteries, but I’ve never seen one with dual alternators. I thought it might be unique to the L8T, from the pics I’ve seen, but I see now it’s an option.

No VIN. I just need the last 8 of the VIN. But can't do it till Monday.
silly question - how is the belt removed/replaced?
Is the alternator pivoted to allow this?
I have the same question. The accessories themselves are in a fixed position on the production engines. Belt tension comes from a stand-alone belt tensioner. I'm starting to wonder if the accessory configuration in this picture actually exists on a production vehicle or is it an artist's rendering? The pulley on the far side of the image is where the power steering pump would be on a production vehicle and it doesn't appear to be a tensioner pulley (or at least not one I've ever seen). Instead, the picture seems to depict a fixed idler pulley. I like the simplicity of what is shown, but without a snubber/tensioner pulley I don't think it would work. Also, I'm no expert on any of this.....I'm just trying to figure it all out like the rest of us....lol.

posting a pic of diagram. Hopefully it comes out right. Now this is based off his VIN but with VIN filter off. so it pulls up more than what his truck came with. But if someone is planning to add a dual Alt, Keep in mind the harness may not be wired for it to control the regulator.
