A/C Compressor question

A/C Compressor question On a 2015 L83, can I mount the compressor so it runs in reverse rotation. I can mount it---but will it work. I see a couple of the Sanden compressors will run in reverse---kinda like an alternator

AFAIK ACDelco (GM) Compressors are directional, but Im not 100% sure. You should check the label (if there is one, and you haven't done so already) to see if it says anything about direction
