Can't believe TF hasn't come out with a DI head.
not really. the hp pump has to be retrofitted. theres not much point to the heads without that. however, the answer is a definite possibly with modification.

any updates TSP?

this is absolutely true and i agree with you 100%….if I had a LT1 block I would be right there with you. I now realize I was off base by mentioning aftermarket heads, after all… which one has posted info like TSP has in this thread. I’ll slow down and see what TSP comes out with.

We have finished our port program and are currently testing the heads with our different camshafts. As soon as we have those packages done, I am certain we will release more info. We are looking to have engine and chassis dyno numbers for all packages.

Any news on those heads, it's been like 2 months since the last post?

Nevermind the 6.2 Vette LT1, the 5.3 in the 14' trucks is quite nasty too a 2014 Silverado with just an air intake, dual exhaust, "no headers either" a 2800 stall and a tune put down 362/396 to the wheels!!!!! DAM those are nasty little motors those 5.3's are, imagine doing a cam & valve-springs, it will be putting down big block chevy #'s!!! Cam would easily make it put down 405/415 to the tires, DAM!! Now imagine what the 6.2's will do!!! lol.. Cant wait

Fastlane in Houston claims 429rwhp with a heads/cam 5.3L 2014, on E85 (those numbers you posted above would have to be on E85 also)

All of the heads/cam packages have been completed. You should see them on our website this week. We also have stroker packages ready to go. We are testing the 416 CID LT1 in our C7 right now.

Thanks!

This is exciting to see that TS is wheeling out these Gen 5 parts already. Im anxious to see in a year or 2 what these things are really capable of. Im sure direct injection helps a ton when it comes to tuning because of the accuracy.

Yes it was on E-85, but still DAM!!!! I live in AZ and E-85 is plentiful but the price has risen dramatically since they figured out all the turbo guys and performance guys in general were using it, *******!!! Same thing happened to diesel when the big 3 started to mass produce pick-ups with diesels, it was $1.10 a gallon when I bought my first Ford Super Duty!!! Don't get me started...lol... Supply and demand I suppose!! :-(

The refining process of ULSD is different adding to the cost. Refineries had to build new units or modify older ones, which they initially passed the cost of on to the consumer, once the consumer became used to the new higher price they did not reduce them. We cannot forget about inflation either, the value of the dollar is no longer the same, and with the increase in demand in the world market it has all added up to higher prices for us. A 39 gallon tank at $3.70 is not fun!

Back to the topic, sorry!
