Default Lingenfelter tests supercharged 6.2L Gen 5 engine

LT1/L86 6.2L GM Gen V direct injection (DI) V8 engine
Stock long block
Full accessory drive
Stock exhaust manifolds
Stock fuel injectors and fuel pump
Magnuson TVS1900 supercharger
621 HP @ 6517 RPM & 617 LB-FT @ 3417 RPM
19 degrees timing & 6.8 psi boost at peak power.

That impressive considering that for most of the rpm range the boost was under 6psi.

how about injectors on these cars? were they anywhere near maxing out or having any issues?

They are fast lane is getting 450 rwhp stock with a tune and right around 580hp,at the crank and thats with a mild cam they have,and they are using kooks heads along with their CNC heads..thats fastlane in houston fastlaneturbo.com

Nice results!

As for the injectors, I'm guessing there was no issue. 121lb/hr and reach a max of 19% duty cycle stock.

Not what I hear. Injectors cant run for the same time as normal ones. So overall flow is equivalent to 46lb/hr not 121!

You only get compression stroke IIRC. You cant start squirting at the end of the exhaust stroke like port injection. At least thats my understanding from some comments on another forum
