Summit Racing Gas Ported GPX Piston Rings
Our GPX Gas Ported piston rings have been working out really well for folks. We posted on it in the Gen 3 section. Check out this video we did with Lake Speed Jr. at Total Seal.

Lake at Total Seal at Shaver Racing. It does a great job of illustrating power gains but it's really the blowby that's so pronounced. You will find the Summit GPX gas ported rings will mirror these gains.

These new gas ported rings are now our choice from anything from very mild, to in-between, to 2000+ horsepower. We have different thickness from 1.0, 1.0, 2mm and all the way up to 5/64 and everything in between. Our Pro LS pistons use a 1.2 1.2 3mm oil ring that will hold up to everything and is suitable for wetsump. The part number that would fit our 4.030 part number for instance would be SUM-GP403012
