Default Gm ls7 lifters

Hello, I am deleting dod on a 2015 5.3 engine. Looking over my kit from tsp I noticed 3-4 of my gm ls7 lifters have metal flakes next to the rollers. I picked some nice pieces off with my finger. Would anyone use this lifters and buff the rough edge to prevent a crack from forming? I asked to return them but they just sent me 3 more shitty gm lifters or am I over reacting?

I’d be afraid to use those…I didn’t see the cracked metal at first…

Johnson 2110r lifters and be done with it. Those ls7 lifters have destroyed so many motors. They’re all Chyna even the gm or delco and terrible. Not worth going cheap on lifters ever. Just return the entire set

If you want a decent lifter for the money, the Morel 7717 is good for mild builds. Otherwise, the 2110's mentioned above are the best drop-in option available.

Those "seasoned junkyard lifters" could very easily be what are called LS7 lifters since they are the default lifters used in all LS engines since around 2007.
