Synergy 2 step for 6 speed n/a cars

it is under the hood, I was going to put it in the glove box, but I didnt feel like adding length to the wires.
Everything is good except for the fact that it called for me to go to wire C1-35, which I do not even have. I am going to have to set up a relay for the clutch switch it looks like.

I will see if I can get some pics tomorrow. I JUST finished up the install.
I had to run a wire through the firewall to the clutch switch (upper one) and put a relay there. I really dont see how this works on other f-bodies because they all show the same pin out from what I have seen, but my instructions called for a pin 35 which was empty.
If you guys are planning on doing it soon, real quick, you need to splice into the grey wire on the upper clutch switch (compressed when clutch is out) and put that on 86 of a 12v relay. This is the normally open contact. Then you need to put a switched 12v power to 85 and jump that to 30 (all these numbers are on the relay). Then hook the grey wire for the 2 step up to 87a, the normally open contact.
You can put this under the hood, but it was easier for me to lengthen one wire and run them inside. I wish now that I could have put it all inside, but its not a big deal.

If I'm not mistaken C1-35 is for a Corvette clutch switch.
For the F-body it should be number 32 gray wire. I'm going to double check to make sure.

Well I know who I will be pestering when I go to install this!
I am completely **** about messy wires, I like to hide everything. So this'll take some planning
how are you splicing into the other wires? or just connecting them into the pin?

I cut and spliced them. I was told to solder them, but I am not the best at that so I did not go that route. If it ever messes up I will have one of my buddys come over and do it haha.
I used 18-22 gage splices, and they are in there tight. Then I went and taped some up. I did not finish yet, because I want to make sure I do not have any other issues. Once all is good I will most likely clamp them down on more time and tape them all up individually.
I like to hide everything too, which is why I am not a big fan of having it mounted under the hood. I drilled one hole where I mounted it, instead of 2. Only problem I see is the cables to the TCS motor are resting on it, but that should not cause any issues.
What I may do once I have it all set like I want it, is cut and lengthen the wires OR mount it behind the PCM if there is room.

here are some pics. The switch needs to be fixed. I tried to put a rectangle in a circular hole lol. I will prob order a new piece and do it right. I had another switch there for the EWP when I first got it. I also have another switch I may use.
The LED is my own I got a while ago. I like it a lot better, lot smaller. I put it under the foam under the gauge cluster. There is pleanty of room to mount it behind the PCM, so as soon as I set it how I want it, I will put it back there and hide it, because I just dont like the way it stands out under the hood right now.
