Yeah, I already called a couple of them. Best price I got to put in one insert was $100.00 - highest was $340.00. The heads and intake are off the engine, I would have to get it towed to the dealership, have the time-sert put in and have the car towed back to the garage where its sitting now. Thats why I was hoping to find someone who has the kit and would do it on the car where its at. The kit costs $450.00 if I want to do it myself !

in 2009,QS&L Sheffield had Sundays for American Classics,Cruisers,& Muscle,QS&L VV had Thursdays for imports.A new QS&L opened last fall in Mentor.Once things are known of what's scheduled at which one,I'll post that info.It's safe to assume the QS&L Sheffield is still gonna be Sundays.

So now that my buddy's superchared Z28 is running good we finally got a real race in. Our cars are pretty much dead even, nose to nose the whole race. He swears he inched on me and I swear I got a fender on him. We'll have to wait for the track to see who really won. But I was just wondering if that was good for my car or should I have beat him? Considering my motor is completely stock I thought that was dam good.

Stock LS1 vs. FI LT1. I feel your car performed really well under those conditions.

What size rear end gear are you each running?

I have a 4.10, he has a 3.23.

firstyrls1z- it looks like its only an hour and 50 minutes away. I am in cleveland regularly for work so maybe I can roll through there...I am also not afraid to put it on the trailer for long hauls if theres something huge going on...

wizard- I think your definition of running good is wrong, lol. He should have beat you fairly easy with a s/c LT1. Ya they arent super fast stock, I used to have one, but anything boosted should gain more power than the difference in stock vs stock. Did he get it tuned or just simply running and not missing or throwing codes?
