Fr8Train, could be from the storms you drove through. Bank 1 is the driver side, cylinder 7 is the closest to the firewall on the driver side. Put left side of car on jack stands & disconnect both 02 sensors on the driver side, (1) before & (1) after catalytic converter. The sensor after the CAT won't effect the fueling, but, should be checked while you're in there, as it will set an engine code. Disconnect @ the electric connector that's a foot or so away from the sensor itself. Once apart, dry out both halves of the connection on each 02 sensor. Blow them out with air or uses some paper towels. Then get some die-electric grease & put it on the each half of each connector. This will keep water out of the connection in the future. Clip the halves back together & zip tie out of the way. Clear the codes. Again, if no code reader then disconnect the positive lead on the battery for a few minutes. Check 4 plug wires on driver side, pull each off & dry them out, then put die-electric grease on the connector on each end of each wire. Re-connect wires. Start the car & go for a drive. There are many other things that it could be, but, this is a good start.
FirstYr, My consensus is that if one has an automatic, there should be a trasmission cooler, regardless of converter, lol. Lugging around a car load of people is enough to heat her up to lethal levels.
