Can't wait for the dyno day...better not be raining either. We are coming for the cook out & meet, not the dyno session. Dyno money is spent 100 times over...am buying parts from 2 different members while there & making a run, local to Columbus & while in the area, to pick up a 944 Turbo hood.

As part of the LSX/Porsche build, am upgrading the stock 944 brakes to 944 S2/Turbo brakes. They use Brembo 4 piston calipers, of which arrived this week. Man, are they saweet. These calipers put even the C5 vette 2 piston design to shame. For once, I bought something related to Porsche that was worth the price paid for it, lol.

The build is a front engine/rear transaxle, like a Corvette. Weight distribution is exactly 50/50. The Munster is 52/48 & more like 52.4/47.6. The Porsche also has a longer wheel base, which offers better stability @ high speed.

Who knows, maybe after this one is done, a mid/rear engine 996 or similar could be next...hmmmmmm.

Actually...not, nasty. It takes months if not a year or more for me just to buy & pay for all of the parts required for a swap. Sometimes I'm able to trade a gemstone for something, but, most times it takes cash. I still only have 60-70% of the parts needed for this swap. Just like everybody else, when money is spent on parts, something else is sacrificed or just not paid for during that month.
