thnx for the feedback. still having difficulty figuring it out. I live in kentucky. As far as a possibly bad connector or connection...i dont know where to start. if it was the alternator wouldnt the battery at least power all the lights, gauges, computer and radio? when its raining, after that initial ignition attempt everything thing electrical is dead

matt- my car goes when i put in in 1st. maybe get a setup like mine??? lol

go back to page 3, my post said specifically what to do to check the conection on the alternator. im not sure what else to tell ya. lol its a single red wire, 13mm nut

haha funny bob... I called spec today and they seem to think the clutch disk is getting thin. I am taking it out tonight and will mic it and see if its in specs.

as for your alternator post--its a single black wire not red hahahaha

I don't know if they are different or not, but the one wire in my alternator plug backed out a little bit, and would just shut it down once every 3-4 months for a year. I got a warranty alternator every time, until I touched that plug while it was dying one time. Pushed the wire back in, and haven't had a problem since.

I just got back seeing Brian in cbus. Car was so f'ed up I thought he was going to pull his hair out, but he figured everything out an made it a totally different car. I highly recommend his work an thank Corey and Joe for recommending him to me.
