Agreed on the 11-12 psi being scarry. Does he have meth injection to cool the charge? If not, would think that it is either dumping fuel to cool or she's hot as hell & knockin'; even w/ an intercooler.

Well I'm not a boost person, but it's been that way for atleast 10 yrs and the motor itself is quiet. We're still working the bugs out of it, it seems to be breaking up at WOT. Our guess is that it was originally a show car, considering the paint and shaved handles. And it has definately seen better days.

has it been at 10-11 pounds for ten years? i thought you said it was at 5-6 before. maybe im wrong. but breaking up at wot is not good at all, especially at that level of boost. and i take it, its in need of a tune?

yeah, definately needs a tune. It was only at 4 lbs. before because of all the problems it had and a slipping belt. I'm thinking the breaking up has something to do with the opti spark.

I think you mat be right about the opti spark I had to replace one and the wires because of the high rpm miss.....as for your rear end questions, I would say with a fairly stock engine your 10 bolt will be fine. I still have the 10 bolt under my car (unfortunately) but I can run it on the street with 315 wide drag radials and it will light the tires in first and second and holds up fine. First time I went to the track and let the air down and warmed them up it twisted the axle in half. Moral of the story- dont dump the clutch when your banging the rev limiter and you will be fine.

lol, I'm 90% sure I won't take mine to the track or put stickies on it. The track loves to eat street cars up, especially on really hot days. What about upgrading the panhard bar, trailing arms, and torque arm? Does that help out?? I was looking at upgrading the rear, but it's just out of budget.

yea, radials and slicks are fine w a stock rearend as long as they dont bite. when u hook up, its really gonna stress that thing out.

We need some OhioLSX stickers.. small ones for the back window or something.
