Supposedly the 10 bolt I found has a 1000 miles on it since they put the posi and 4.10 gear in it. The car had an engine fire so it wasn't in a wreck or anything. He wants $300 for it.
Thanks Nasty, thats what I was wondering, because I also found a stock 10 bolt, stock gear out of a 50k mile car for $350 w/ 60 warranty and it's a 4 channel. Definately don't want to spend $2k on a rear, I don't have that much hp right now and still not sure what I want to do with the car. But I know I need some LT's asap, so I want to get this rear end dealt with. Appreciate all the help.

go with the one thats built. first gear will be insanely short with 4.10s, prolly wont even need to use it. but you'll like it at the track. maybe put some axles in it too for a lil extra insurance. itll still keep you under 1k

If go with that 10 bolt. With the posi. That will be plenty for what ur doin w the car from the sound of it. Just stay away from the radials and sli ks and you will b fine

Ok, I'm going with the built 10 bolt. He's even going to deliver it to me next weekend, can't beat that. Oh yeah, we got my buddy's Z28 all fixed up, and wow is that thing fast. Had only 4 lbs of boost when he got it, now it's pullin 10-11lbs of boost. It really is a miracle that car made it home in the condition it was in.

lol, glad to hear the car is up and goin good, make sure you get the whole story behind that rear end before you commit. see what the reason was for why he took it out, and ask to take a peak inside it. whats all done to you buddys camaro? 10-11 is a little scary, dont wanna see him blown the thing apart, lol

My buddy's camaro is pretty sweet. Except that it's black w/ a big pink and purple stripe all the way around. It's got a vortech supercharger, H/C, LT's, 6 speed w/ mc cloud? clutch. Probably more, we are just now getting into it and just got it running right. Sounds mean as hell.

pics should tell you the story wizard, and ur buddys camaro is lt1 correct? on a bad note, jason (massillongoat) had some problems with his car tonight, started out thinking it was a lifter and got progressivly worse and lower, so we r thinking its a rod bearing gone. wish us luck
