4 Door GTO. I love it. Guys with families could have fun too. I effing hate 2 door cars, look really cool but useless in day to day driving. I find it very amousing how the Aussie GM cars have so much nicer interiors that the garbage we get here. I wonder why that is. OK who got me started. I'll shut uo now.

i love the interiors. I was going to look into having a clubsport r8 imported, the hsv model. But then the G8 came along and now ill just wait for that. I think it was the clubsport r8. You guys know anyone with a hsv quattro coupe? Or whatever they call the AWD Manaro/GTO ? id love to find one in a junk yard in australia and buy the AWD system.

Would someone post a pic of a new LS2 commodore or a VY - VZ HSV R8 or something or even one of the last Manaros with the scoops?
Those bush cars are models from the 90s(VX and AU etc) when American cars IMO were beter looking but a lot has changed in the last little while and now the bush cars have got a lot better and F bodys and GTOs are finished.I know the new one is coming but I think the new HSV commodores are awesome but just a rip off when it comes to price I think Aa new GTS is more expensive than a ZO6 un beliveable these bush cars are Corvette money????? SSs and XR8s cost about same as LS2 vettes and they are Holden and Fords low grade sports versions.
Buy the new G8 V8 version is going to built in Australia then shiped to states and be 20,000 cheaper than a SS WTF are my figures off the V8 is $30,000usd well what does a SS cost in OZ about $50,000aud?? And current exchange rate is close so what is up with that??

I just got back from a month in Perth. I'll give you guys in Aus credit, there are some damn fine looking cars over there. I seen a couple R8 clubsports and loved them.

not really that expensive mate. A commodore V8 is worth about what the average person earns in a year.. With our dollar climbing fast and predictions that it will eclipse the greenback by years end. It makes it difficult for Holden to justify exporting our high end models. I'm loving that our dollar is kicking **** at the moment. Just bought myself a cam package from texas speed for under $900AU. A few years ago you wouldn't much change out of $1500

TB mate I would have a brock in blue for a vk and I would chose muscle over rice anyday.
Macca it is expensive! With the exchange rate the way it is a HSV costs about same as Z06 vette but the HSV only has the motor of the low grade vette and that has a LS2 and thats priced about same as a SS also is a curent SS a LS2 or a LS1?

Whats a VK Brock Director? I didnt understand the Director part. Infact I like that car so much I would have a well done fake one even! You know the ones that use to be 6 cylinder and someone has put a 305ci? In it and T5 and painted it the Brock blue.
