While in Bowling Green I talked to the photographer Jim Baird at the track. This was on the 18th. He showed me a few pictures he had taken of my car and my girlfriend and I really liked a few of them. So we dicided we wanted to do a 16x20 collage. I picked my pictures, he told me to come back the next day and take a look at what he would have worked up. He told me I would receive my picture in the mail shortly after the event.

The next morning(9/19/11) I go look at what he has worked up, he has nothing but quickly makes something look good and I liked it. I asked him what we needed to do to make this a deal. He said $95, I handed him a $100 bill, and received $5.00 back, and got a recept(with my information, number and address) and he told me a week or so and I should have it. All was good, couldnt wait to get home and hang it in my shop.

Well about 3 weeks has went by and I havent seen a picture, thought I better look for my ticket and see if there is a contact number on it. Well I find it, call him, no answer. I leave a message. I end up calling the next day and get ahold of someone. He says it must be a big mistake and he is very sorry, he askes all my info and about the car says he will call me back in about 15min. Well no call, 2 days later I hear back. He says he cant find anything and doesnt remember me or my car until I start talking about my g/f and then hes all aboard and remembers us?? He says he will look more and call back. I call him a few days later, he says he has no record of us making this deal, and says "we never made a go on this" I ask him what do you mean, replying that" you never paid is what I mean"...I tell him I have a reciept!!!!!! I told him I would mail him a copy and then to get ahold of me. So I mailed it about 2 weeks ago. Well its been going on, I cant get ahold of him and no picture, emails, or calls. So I thought I would just start a complaint here, I really didnt want to sound like a dick, but its been going on for almost 2 months now!! Im at a loss to what to do now, just BEWARE of INDIE IMAGES!!!

 

Which guy was he, the body builder looking guy or the older white-haired guy?

John this guy is the track photographer at Beech Bend. I'm sure he has a contract set up with Dallas. If you'd like me to do some checking I'd be glad to lend a hand if I can help. I'm local anyway and talked to the guy last weekend at the track.
