LSFest 2020 - COVID-19 Edition...
I've been stoked to attend LSFest East 2020 in Bowling Green ever since last year's event wrapped up. With all of this COVID B.S. my family and I had to cancel both a trip to NYC and vacation in the mountains of Tennessee. I see that LSFest West got moved to June 12th and will be running later at night while LSFest East is still on for September 11th.
Has anybody that was planning on attending either event canceled their plans? Do you guys and gals think these events will be in full swing by June or September? June seems like a stretch to me at this point while September seems possible. I wonder if attendance would be down regardless due to financial hardships many have faced. Your thoughts?

I plan on being at the east show. Last year was the only one I missed, due my mother having some touch and go health issues. I'm not sure if I'm flying in or driving in, they both cost about the same for me. I stat down there for free at one of my buddy's places about 45 minutes, from Beach Bend, so hotel cost, isn't an issue. So as long as they have it, I should be there

My plan is to attend the East event like I did last year. The question will be what friends, if any can or will go. I hope the health issues concerning your mother turned out okay Pacer Racer.

I was just thinking about this topic this morning. I'm thinking about skipping this year due to the virus. I've been the last 4 years myself. Last year that Saturday alone it was over 13 thousand people in attendance and people was still pouring in to see the cars. You figure 13 thousand people in such a small space like that it's kinda risky and people come from all America... I even met some guys from California there. Some towns don't have that many people there in its population.

Somewhat of a Noob to LS Feast East, we are registered and Hotel booked. How does entering for different events work, I would like to do some Auto-X and also do the show?
Thanks

Could anyone tell me if LS fest 2002 will have a mandatory mask requirement? I know KY has been insanely totalitarian during this event and I dont' want to waste the time and money if they're just going to throw people out.

I'm definitely going. I see on the website that Holley is capping attendance. It doesn't state what # will be allowed in daily. I'll be happy if the same amount of participants (Auto X, Drag, Drift, and show) attend but the crowd of spectators is lessened. Sucks for vendors, but would be ideal for me.
BTW, tickets are sold online. With attendance capped I think people who plan on attending had better buy tickets ASAP. - https://www.lsfest.com/bowling-green...ling-green-ky/
