As long as the weather holds out I'll be in Madison and plan to make the ride to Heidts. If I cruise to Champaign is a game time decision.
I'll be in the car in sig except I'll have stock speedlines on. Come say hi.

Hey Craig, I'll keep an eye out for you, but it may be easier for you to find me, since I'm not sure I will recognize that car. The Vette is easier to spot!

I don't think I am going to go I-70, so probably won't be going up 55. Plan on taking 36 hwy across Missouri to 36/72 in Illinois.

Speaking of rain, I got rained on in St. Louis early Friday morning. Rained on in Madison, WI, early Sunday morning. Rained on a few times getting to Champaign. Rained on during the evening in Champaign. There's a few rain showers this morning in Champaign. Forecast for rain is hit or miss today in St. Louis (Madison, IL).
Here's a link to some F-bodies on the Hot Rod web site. Mine is #283.
Would've loved to have gone with the t-tops removed yesterday (Madison to Champaign) but the rain kept them on. I did drive around Madison with them removed for a while, it was perfect weather at the time.

I used to go on the Power Tour every year, for about 15 years or so, but kind of got burned out about 5 years ago because they always went to the same locations and cut the actual touring part by a significant amount. But this year my vacation plans got shot to ****, so I will be doing a couple of legs of the Tour. Plan on leaving KC early Sunday morning and driving to Champaign Il then to STL and then back home. I'll be driving my trusty rusty, so if you see it stop by and say hi!

Nice meeting you too. I shut her down just in time from that little 100mph blast down I-72, wasn't a few minutes later I saw that cop had someone pulled over....... Also while in STL, I got picked for HotRod's Hot 100 on Beale Street, but sadly had to turn it down since I wasn't going to go to Memphis.

Our group did the first three stops. 69 Firebird convertible, 68 Stingray, 67 Chevelle, 69 Coronet wagon body on a 2007 Charger everything else, 2015 Hellcat Challenger, 2015 C7 convertible, 2012 Charger, 1995 Impala SS, 2006 GTO, and my 2008 C6. Had a blast, other than I can't stand driving through Illinois on the freeway! It was much better this year as we only hit one toll instead of five of them, but making us go through a toll to get back into Wisconsin AND having a trooper sit right after the toll both...**** Illinois.
No, but the power at our hotel was knocked out from about 9 or 10pm until 7:30am! The hotel we were at was nice enough to let us continue drinking in the breakfast area all night after the bad weather hit. My DeWALT LED flashlight came to the rescue when the power went out!
Nice truck, saw it at the first stop!

Great pics! I can't say I see my car but then I did leave after a while and head to Talladega Superspeedway and took the tour. There were a few others there too.
When I got home my car had logged just under 3,500 miles.

Gocartone - sounds like we stayed in the same hotel in champaign, we lost power about 9 and didn't get it back til 7am or so. Thanks for the kind words on the truck, we did the long haul and had a good time.
