Default Finally getting my LS1

Well I've wanted a Trans Am all my life, bought a Firebird 2 years ago...but she's a Sixer (seen in sig) so it only made me want a Trans Am even more, always wanted the V8 but couldn't afford it. Well I've got the Firebird payed off now and i've been saving up so I can finally get my LS1 car I've been waiting 20 years for (I'm 20 btw). Not new to the forums or new to LS1 cars or F-body's...but not a veteran either, I'm just really excited about getting this car. I'm picking the car up this Monday Anyway heres some pics of the car from the sellers photobucket.

Don't sweat it. You will find another one. There are alot of people needing to sell right now. Just be patient and the right car will come along.

Ouch, I know what thats like for a guy to back out. The first one I was going to get was like that, though I got lucky on my second. Look around long enough and you'll find some good ones. Autotrader.com worked wonders

haha thanks man. yeah like i said ive got a bunch of possibilities, about 8 that meet my description, so the odds of one of these being under my possession within the month is very high!

only problem is i cant find one without TCS!!! its so aggravating. i wish they just wouldn't have made the T/A with it. all 8 of these possibilities have TCS, but of course the one I almost had doesnt have it

wow, you had to rush in that week huh. you were able to find a buyer for the mustang within just a week? good work! believe me I already know the two dont compare. the V6 is just there for a nice looking DD...but I've driven LS1 cars before and the power doesn't compare. its an amazing feeling that the V6 could never give, but I still love her to death.

yeah i had a guy wantin to buy the ole stang before it went up for sale so pretty much just had to tell him a price and it was gone, and yeah the v6 is a great dd i like drivin it longer distances better than the ws6 and its more fun in the snow too cuz its an automatic and slides better, but no power comparison the v6 is just a disappointment when i hit the throttle after coming out of the ws6

nonono...keeping the V6 Bird as my DD, cant be DDing the T/A, that car is gonna be a garage queen. besides, I couldn't let go of the Firebird, shes a good car that I'm extremely proud of and gives me something that a T/A couldn't give me, a great looking car that can go through Indiana winters just fine and not make me feel horrible about driving every day in the snow/rain in.

now this is a funny story. turns out the oringinal seller shot me a text thursday telling me he wanted to sell me the car again, so the deal was on. I got into virginia yesterday and bought the car today. so I've finally got my LS1, and its the car I started this thread about haha.
