new to site and ls1's whats up, new to the site here but not cars. I just sold my neon srt-4 stage 3 (400hp) and wasnt really in the market for a car at the time but then along came a 99 camaro ss slp with a offer i ABSOLUTELY could not pass up. now i've been around alot of fast cars from v6tt's, 4cylinder turbos, and v8's etc... but never owned a v8 other than my silverado truck. But i must say i think i may have been bitten by this ls1 bug. I've drove it the last 2 days and i REALLY am starting to like it and looking forward to learning the car inside and out. The car runs stout as is and the looks i get from everyone is endless. It seems EVERYONE loves this car. But i jus thought i'd stop in and introduce myself and get to know some of the members on here. I'll probably be here for a long time with this car and will defenetly need help with this new project. here are some mods that came with the car:
the car is a black t top m6
eldelbrock longtube headers with custom exhaust
ported/polished heads
561 lift cam
brand new rebuild on the motor
arp head bolts and studs with new rod bearings
nitrous express wet kit (100 shot) tuned with blue cat.
Plans:
the direction i want to go in with the car is probably go with a turbo kit, either twin or single, but seems i got ALOT of research to do on this. Not sure how much boost i can run with stock enternals but im lookin forward to it.
