Best swap ever. The motor looks stock in there.

A friend of mine drove an S2000. Handling and stability were perfect, but my only fret was the power, or lack there of. Sure, the screams of the little 2.0/2.2L motor at 8500-9000RPM are orgasmic, but the power definitely was not. A properly done LS swap into an S2000 would make it the perfect car. Good job.

Badass job man. You should do something w/ the intake set up. I'm sure it's pulling timing when it sucking hot air from the engine. Maybe a scoop on the front and plastic shield behind the cone.

I cannot take credit for the builders work. Must say he did a slick job though.

You won't get poo-poo'ed on this site for shoehorning an LS engine into an S2000.

It's all thumbs up from guys that recognize the fine engineering of mating a great engine to a great chassis.

I like the custom emblem on the side, and the 5.3 fits like a glove. Not to mention weight distribution is 50/50 with a full tank. Cool car.

Hey, that works for me! Glad to hear it but I also realize we are all entitled to our own opinions.

I don't think anyone here is going to have a negative opinion of an s2000 with a 5.3.
My only problem with it is this...
It would look better with my name on the registratio. I can help you with that appearance mod, and I won't even charge you for it. You can thank me later.

Thanks! I have been trying to decide if I want to keep the emblem or not.

No videos yet. Dealing with an incoming snowstorm today, that and the holidays. Don't expect videos for a couple of weeks at this rate. I promise to provide video footage of the car though in the near future. For now, it is sitting in the garage.

Thanks for the compliment

+1 for the LS2000. What type of exhaust? Is it quiet or can you tell she is ls powered?

Looks right at home in there... My folks have a 06 with less than 4k miles on it, and the seat time I've had in it has been pretty fun.. Nice little cars..

I'd say swap a LS6 intake on it and put a little cam in it and have some fun..
