Default V8 powered Honda S2000 stopping in w/pics...
Hello all,

Stopping by to check out the site. Here is some info on my car:

2000 Honda S2000
5.3 liter all aluminum block and heads from 2007 Chevrolet SUV ( LS1 intake, exhaust, coils, oil pan and intake tube)
T56 6 speed manual transmission
All factory Honda instrumentation.

Took it to the scale house and weights are as follows:
Car plus full fuel tank and 70# weight in the rear = 3040 lbs
Car plus full fuel tank and 70# weight in the rear (front axle) = 1520 lbs
Car plus full fuel tank and 70# weight in the rear (rear axle) = 1520 lbs

Hope to gain much knowledge from the site.

No bashing here, we love to see conversions with LS motors bro! Thats ****** badass! Any videos? Specs on motor? Dyno? Details man!

welcome, it looks like a very clean install. have you ran the car in the quarter mile?? also what rear end gears do s2000's come with?

Engine is stock Chevrolet. No Dyno #'s either yet. Sorry...

Car has never been tracked.

Gear Ratios
1: 01:01.2
2: 02:03.1
3<: 03:02.0
4: 04:01.5
5: 05:01.2
6: 06:00.9
Final drive: 4.100:1
Differential: Torque-sensing limited slip

It's got a tad more torque than hers did. Won't pull a 9000 rpm redline though!

ur car weighs the same as my iroc-z btw. might run tens with 150 shot and traction.

I was gonna say, wont be utilizing the full potential of that digital tach in the car lol. nice car. bet it handles like a SOB with 50/50 weight.
