kid with 01 trans am ws6 hi im caleb and im new to the site and pretty new to the car. i want to start building it up and the first place i was advised to start was a programmer if anyone has one and knows if they work please let me know.

Waste of money man. If I were to go back and do it all over again I would have started with the suspension (lca's, subframe connectors, etc.) then moved on to the bolt on stuff like headers and exhaust. Programmers are a waste of money. Having the car tuned isn't really worth it until you get into cam swaps or nitrous and forced induction

for the intake would i want to get a intake manifold and like a 92mm throttle body or leave the stock throttle body on there. also what are like the top five brands of headers you would suggest, and do you know of a true duel exhaust bolt on or is that all custom
