Whats up everyone, new to the site and the LS1 scene came from the 3800 world. This is a big step up from my little 6 banger lol. Anyway finally got my dream car. 1998 TA with 98000 on her just picked it up at noon today.

Lookin forward to learnin alot about these cars and meetin some new ppl.

I will do as much research as possible so i wont ask stupid questions haha

Im currently in Charleston IL just moved here back in august. Its about 45 min from the Indiana line.

Im orginally from Jerseyville IL, little hick town about 45 min to an hour north of STL, but I still travel to STL area almost every weekend since all my family is still there

Welcome. I too came from a 3800. Had a 01 GTP and my uncle bought a 00 Camaro SS. I always liked the Camaro and when I finally drove his, I had to have one. I bought a 01 SS from an older gentleman with 48k miles. Wait till the mod bug bites ya.

ever been to the drag strip in Charleston? I used to bracket-race my Turbo Buick there a few years ago.

Yes I have, its about 3 miles away from my house actually. I can hear them race during the summer in my backyard. I raced my gtp there quite a few times last year

My dad lives in south roxanna so im down that way almost every weekend. I have a couple friends from woodriver tho too. We might have to drink a few sometime.
