Default First time F body owner....pics inside

hey everyone. I signed up on this board years ago when I was considering buying a Camaro, but i got another Mustang. fast forward 4 years and after 4 mustangs I finally made the jump to the darkside. I just traded my 97 Mustang GT for this....

95 Camaro Z28. LT1 with some bolt ons, built auto with shift kit, Awsome leather, Z06 wheels, cold A/C 110k miles. Car has new water pump, new optispark, new oil pump, new head gaskets, msd itgnition, hotckins STB, tons of new suspension parts, car handles awsome. Im loving it so far but I have alot to learn. She has a exhaust leak I need to find but other than that she runs strong and is faster than my last mustang.

judging by the red intake, i think you lucked out, got an LT4 conversion....so that means you have the better heads and intake on the LT1. hopefully it has a cam in it!

good looking car!

Is this true? I thought the previous owner had just painted the intake. I know it has the aluminum heads, a magnet would not stick to it. There is no cam lope so I think that is stock. So if its true on the LT4 conversion what does that mean for me? The car is pretty quick, faster than my mustang thats for sure. Anything else I can look at to confirm a conversion?

Good looking LT1 man. Seems to be well cared for.

What are your plans for it?

check the part number on the intake. the lt4 intakes are red....and only bolt to the lt4 heads....12550631 is from a 96 LT4 vette. 1250630 is gmpp LT4 intake.

i think the LT1 heads end in 90 and the LT4 heads end in 61.

do some checking, it'd suck to see if he painted the stock intake.....run some numbers man!!! basically the difference between 285hp and 330hp....factory numbers

I cant find #'s on anything, where do I look? This engine bay is so cramped compared to my mustang, its not easy to see anything in there.
