Sup guys, I got the sickness of going turbo 5.3 on my foxbody, so i decided to join the forums. I had a lil turbo 302 in my fox, then pulled it out, i was about to finish a h/c/i 351w but decided to scratch that and go 5.3. Looking to soak in all the LS knowledge i can. Hopefully I dont get flamed for putting a Chevy motor into a stang. ![The Patriot !!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_patriot.gif)

Oh no thats not gonna happen.
Maybe someday Ford will see the light and put Chevy motors in them at the factory.

I just picked up a 02 iron 5.3 with 706 heads, what gen would that be? It came out of suburban. Right now I have a built c4 with some 3:27 gears outback on the 8.8 on some 27" tall tire. I'm thinking I'm going with a 4l80e with the 5.3.

I'll be following your build thread if you start one. I had a 93 Gt for a while and loved that car. Shouldn't have sold it Now that I'm back to F body's and putting a ls1 in a third gen, I'm interested in all swaps that people are doing with these things. Your's stands out to me since I loved my GT and love the ls engines. Only thing I would say is why 4l80?

Don't feel so bad about it, Ford wanted to use these huge clunky 4.6's that absolutely need forced induction to make any power and still don't equal an LSX. I am using a 5.7 stroked to 383 and a T56 in my `94 GT, the LS package fits better in a SN95 better than an F body, just saying.
