new from louisanna well im new to the forum and engine swaps but not new to the field of wrenching.... ive built a lot of bikes and a few cars but kept those fairly stock....... ive got a new project as of now tho.... 1993 camaro ls1 swap .(the project car z28)........ i bought the car and pulled the intake off and there it was three bent rods..... however the rods were all there.... motor was tapping.....so i pulled it and the cam was bad so was the crank....talk about mad...well i pondered a few options of 383 or lt1 rebuild but i ran across a complete running 98 trans am with ls1 and auto (the donor car)...(i wanna keep it auto for the wife she wants to drag the marro)..... body a little beat but it is a vert boo that i like the 93 z28 more anyways there much more sexier... well i bought it and drove it home...now i want the drive train from the 98 in the 93......i should have everything to do it but the wiring now.... i like the guages in the t/a but dunno if it will fit so i think im going to swap out the entire harness and dash so i can use the t/a stuff...with all this being said i will start this in two weeks what problems am i looking at and solutions...ive read sooooo many posts and stikies and people that has done it that im crosseyed....lol..btw im aj and ill get some pics of my rides up soon doing this at work so i gotta get on my phone and do that...
