Default Old New Guy

Howdy,
been a member for a while, but just lurked for years. Great place to learn new stuff and grab good info. I've had this thing and enjoyed it for just about long enough and figure it's about time to trade this in and graduate to a man pedal. I want something newish and comfy with a 6060 that will still make low 10's with the A/C on....

Default SES Soon light from spraying WD40

Hey how's it going? That Caddy looks nasty, my cousin has a 2007 CTS-V that puts out as much horsepower as my Firebird 5.7L V8.

Hope to learn a few things here and answer one question I have below;

Hi I sprayed WD40 on my gear shifters and my pulley for fan belt. Now my SERVICE ENGINE SOON Light is on?

does anyone know if the O2 sensor is near the gear box, or why WD40 would trigger a Service light? It wasn't on when I bought the car and the motor is real quiet, seems to run alright. Any help would be appreciated.
