NOOOB Cincy. 
The new addition.
LQ9 and a 2017 6.0L the truck is getting the LQ9 and the new engine well I just got it bc it was $200 brand new (67 miles)
I’ll Hello Ladies/Gentleman. And everything maybe in between. I am not new to this site but newly registered. I am a retired Marine, newly opened shop that specializes in one off upholstery and interiors by one off I mean I design, fabricate and build the complete interior and upholstery, I don’t like using the term “custom” bc i have no clue what that means anyway and it kinda sounds silly and pretentious? I’m just a humble guy trying to squeak out a living after 6 combat tours and 16 years as a grunt I want to make nice interiors for the working man. Currently I am working on a 85 C10 my newest edition and I picked up a nice LQ9 6.0, and believe me I know their are countless threads and posts about that but I’m more of a talk to the guys who’ve done it type reading a lot of articles makes me dizzy maybe bc I’m not intelligent? But I’d like to pick anyone’s brain who has done this before if they would like to bc I’ve never done one and I’d like to listen to the “watch out fors”. Thanks guys and gals look forward to talking with some of you.

Yessir. Bought it November 13, 2011 from a guy who’s brother bought it new. Drove it home from B’ham and stated the tear down. Four years, two months, and two weeks later, I drove it out of the shop. I did everything but spray the outer body final paint, which I will do myself on my next build. It’s an ongoing project, just like everything else. Yessir. Bought it November 13, 2011 from a guy who’s brother bought it new. Drove it home from B’ham and stated the tear down. Four years, two months, and two weeks later, I drove it out of the shop. I did everything but spray the outer body final paint, which I will do myself on my next build. It’s an ongoing project, just like everything else. Awesome man!! Congrats. I probably couldn’t even do all that and I own a shop! Haha. I mainly specialize in one off interiors and upholstery but I design, fabricate and build/sew every single piece. I’ve kinda built a reputation for my center consoles, dashboards because I have a certain style that makes it “custom” but doesn’t look like it’s trying to be if that makes sense. For example I might take a 2010 Camaro rally pack center console style and fabricate it onto a 66 ford Galaxie and it looks like it belongs there. But my stuff has really caught peoples attention bc it is simple, clean and most importantly not expensive and outrageous!
