Default New Memeber- 1963 Nova wagon LQ4/4L80 Goal

I'm Differential Guy in his early 40's from Northern CA. So not new to working on cars by any means. This time I have a shell of a 63 Nova Wagon, a ton of parts I have been building up over the past 2-3 years, very little free time and even less money lol. I bought a LQ4/4L80 from a 2005 Chevy 2500HD with 85K miles. This will be my First LS engine but have done many many SBC builds over the years. My goal is a mild 400HP build so should be easy from what I have read. I have a 05 GTO oil pan, intake, fuel rails w/injectors, a pair of 243 heads, TSP low lift stage 3 cam w/springs 216/220, and BTR Trunnion upgrade kit. So I'm sure I will be asking many questions but will try to use the search as much as possible before bugging you all.

Welcome Miles. Sounds like you have a good list of parts for your project. There are a lot of us on here who have done more than one LS swap. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Tons of info here to research also.

Be sure and check out the "Conversions and Hybrids" section on here.

I'm a wagon guy myself. Post some pictures of your ride.
