Default Mechanic new to 4l60e rebuilding

33 Fl AC mechanic I started turning wrenches before 10years old from fixing/taking mowers weed eaters apart and figuring out why they would run. Until now, there isn’t much that I can’t do with the knowledge ability to turn wrenches. My dad has raced cars since before I can remember. Needless to say I was by his side watching every second I was available. Thankful I learned by watching him work on whatever it may have been. Because the skills I picked up are the skills I use daily repairing air conditioning system to make a living.
what brings me here?
my play truck that I have had tranny rebuilt to many times. So thinking to myself m, if I had started gaining gm tranny knowledge from the first rebuild I wouldn’t be here with the problems I am having today. I can fix just about anything I would like to but transmission. So I am officially taking all the knowledge I can get in the transmission world.

Welcome to LS1Tech! Very similar story here as well. I took a couple engines apart at like 8 years old because I had to know how it worked. Dad beat the crap out of me...I deserved it...still interested today.
