Thanks
1938 Chevy Truck 1/2 ton, LY5 5.3 L
I will leave it rusted and a beer keg gas tank and no bed.
The Biggest back tires I can find are Hoosier 33x21.50R-15LT
I moved the wheelbase 24" on the back

The 1938 is a future project I'm wanting to do on a budget.
I will be using the motor and transmission from my 2008 GMC 1500 Sierra with the 5.3 L 245,000 miles

The truck is just plain badass and will make an amazing rod. I'm more of a 6.0 or 6.2 fan myself but seeing as you have the complete drivetrain already go with it. With an *** that light it would be a tire smoker with an inline 6. Are you planning to use the Sierra frame under this project?

I would modify the 38 frame with a 4 bar rear and mustang type front suspension
