I'm the new kinda new
Uhh... yeah. Some guys know me off camaroz28.com and ls1.com. I'm young. I'm not old enouph to drive (15). But I know something about something. I hope you guys could help me with my questions and I'll help you out with whatever I can. I want to set off my Automotive Career and I am also an enthusiast. So much love to my enthusiast peoples. Peace.
EDIT: Oh I forgot. I have a Toyota Camry '94 four cylinder (beater). It has 156,000 miles on it. But I rebuilt the heads and put in new piston rings and it rins like new. I don't drive it but when I get my license it get's passed to me and since I'm a good student my mom might get me a 2002 Camaro SS/Z28, low miles, GM Certified.

Welcome to the site. You have come to the right place of technical support. I would hold off on the 2002 Camaro SS/Z28 until you have some drive time under you belt. Being 16 and having a fast car like an SS or Z28 might be a little more than you can handle.

Yeah, thank's for the advice. I'm pretty mature for my age, so that's why my mom is giving me the car. I am going to take it easy though, because I don't want to wreck it, but as soon as I get it I'm going to add bolt-on SFC, and just get used to the power. Maybe some suspension mods, but keep the stock power until I truly need more. Thank's for the welcome.

Best thing that my dad taught me when i first got my car ( I was 18 at the time, now 19) was.....when we took it to the high school when it was raining on weekends when no one was there and set up a road cousre for me to drive. he would tell me to get on it and drive it as fast as you can.....and i would loose control everytime, .......after a few months i learned how the car handled, what it liked, and what it hated..........It was the best thing i ever did, I grew up so much and learned so much about driving.
