I got my car when i was 17 and i still am 17 but theres one catch. My dad knows i like street racing and racing in general so he restricted my car to 35% throttle...but he takes it off for the track so thats kind of fun. I guess i could say i got a 99 really good sounding V6.

lol, how did he do yours? I was 18, 21 now. When I got my ticket 120+ in a 65, he siliconed a bolt on the side of the throttle body and took a picture incase I messed with it. It was so slow.

Similar to mine but he actually drilled a hole in it and and thredded it. then he painted the screw so he would know if it moved at all since it would crack the paint if i removed it. I get it off though when im 18 if i get no tickets so far so good.

Yeah, he never told me when I would get to take mine off. I ended up going to college and when there ripped it off.

So is your car stock, or does it have some mods? Also be careful, this site will make you broke. You start looking around in the sales threads and think you need this this and this for your car. lol

Welcome to the site man. Nice car don't let anyone give you **** about having nice stuff. I have some nice stuff as well but I don't show it off or act like the ****. I mean what are you supposed to say no when your parents offer you a trans am? People in high school are very jealous but what the hell. Just don't let it go to your head and realize that you really are lucky. (I don't show off the beamer, but you damn well better believe I drive that car like it's meant to be driven.)

lol ya my best friend didnt find out about my car untill i went to his house to get my movie like i nono 10 days after i got it, im not a real show off. ya i know this site among others with make me poor, lol in school i did some math and it seems like the 6 or 7 mods i want will take me over 2 years to save enough and thats if i work every day including holidays at minimun but what ever it shall be modded as soon as i get some cash, lol whts the frist mod i should do? besides free mods, like intake or exhast? well i know mods go 1, driver 2, brakes 3, suspension, 4 engine or somthin like that but wht do you guys sujest? and wht kinda like exhast i perfer borla i dont know the exact one or wht ever but i love the way my dads zo6 sounds, i'll have to ask him wht kinda borla hes got, but i like the low mean growl, and i dont want my car to sound like a motor boat, and wht are good heads/cams that wont rape u in the price?

That's a nice ride you got there!

Don't even want to say what I had as a "vehicle" when I was 16.

As for mods, seat-time, seat-time, seat-time. Then I would suggest intake, exhaust, then some suspension pieces to make your ride track ready. Next maybe a set of track wheels/tires.

Enjoy your car and be careful of the "Mod Addiction"
