new from Central ohio (COFBA)

well I don't have an LS1 quite yet. I'm in the market for one again though. Waiting to sell my '95 AWD Talon before making a purchase. Talked my mom into buying her new '00 Z28 Vert(triple black). have friends who have some SICK LS1's and after driving the madre's, i'm gettin into the game. Goal is to have the 'camaro running quicker than the talon by next summer. pretty much means 11's as the talon is capable of 12.2's. Lookin for a LS1 Z six speed for under 10k. oh and the talon is 6k obo if anyone's interested.

Nope, never heard of that site. Sometimes I post on Cofba (Central Ohio F-body Association) under 00 SLVR Z.

thanks for the welcomes guys. hope to have my ls1 here REAL soon. i'm stuck just looking at my mom's '00 Z28 vert(triple black). gotta get rid of this talon first though. anyone headin to Goodguys this weekend in Columbus?

mom's car is hers, dont want a vert plus she paid more than i'm willing to. i mite go ahead and go for the auto, i guess it would be the best for what i'm doin(drag). i found a nice hugger orange auto for like 9200. just gotta get rid of the talon!

i guess in the back of my mind, i still want that 11 second slip outta my 4 cyl. talon. it's just a huge money pit and looks like ***. i want a car that has power and torque but looks great and LEATHER interior and a RADIO. i'm tired of just listenin to the turbo and exhaust.....
