Default About to join the LS1 ranks

Hi. Just to say hi, and introduce myself.

I currently have a 56 Chevy Convertible with a 75 350 4bolt nickel block; B&M Blower and B&M cam, Holley 750 manifold referenced carb, Pete Jackson Gear Drive, 700R4 built.

I'm thinking about converting to an LS1. Not sure about making such an expenditure, but I hear lots of good things about the LS1.

My current engine runs real good. Love the seat of the pants thing when I kick in teh blower. Gas mileage is around 11.5 though.

The LS1 is a great looking package, and I hear they run real good; run real smooth; and get good mileage. What more can I ask?

I've posted here in the hybrid forum to get some feedback on the conversion. I've already spent a couple days here reading. Good site.

I'll be seeing you around the forum.
