Hi People
I live west of chicago. Purchased a red 2002 M6 Z28 about 3 months ago. It was all stock when I got it. So far I put a SLP lid and bellows, skip shift eliminator, traction control reversal, Hurst cue ball shifter ball and 17 x 9.5 f 17 x 11 r black ZR1 wheels with 275/40 f 315/35 r Nittos.
I love the Nittos! They hook! I am doing 2500 dumps and it hooks and cooks! I'd like to take it higher but I dont want blow the clutch and rear end yet.
Over the winter my plans are to drop the motor and tranz. Install a cam, pocket port the heads, all of the suspension stuff, clutch and a 9" rear.
A little about me.
Im 32. Started as a plumber in high school. Then I was a Chevrolet mechanic for 12 years. Then I sold and serviced level control and process equipment. Now I am a union plumber.
I have always tinkerd with cars all of these years. My main thing that I am well known for is building 1973-1987 4x4 chevys. Ive done 5 total fram off builds. (bare frame and cab) . Ill post pictures when I figure it out.
As you can see I hopefully can teach you guys somthing as you thach me.
Cheers!

Welcome from a fellow chicago area resident.
Sounds like you've done some impressive work with 4X4s.
Good luck with your new Camaro.
