Hello all... Mustang girl trying to convert..
Hi!! My name is April Bryant. If any of you are familiar with the mustang drag racing world, I'm the one who covers the results for FunFordWeekend and Hardcore50.com.
So help me to convert over to this world... Mustang racing is a little too commonplace for me right now... HELP!!
Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself... Here's a pic.

Welcome to LS1TECH. I think you are making the right choice. Although were are not as common as the mustang world, we are however committed, and loyal to the sport. I know that when my friends and I race, it's all about fun and setting new personal goals. It's nice to see a new face in our world. I know that I can speak on behalf of me and our team ( NOYZEE RACING) WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!

Hi April and welcome to the boards...
I myself love both worlds to tell you the truth....I have always been into F-Bodies all my life and then about 3rys ago or so,I got into the world of 5.0 Mustangs...I love both and think that (contrary to what most people say...) both GM and Ford communities have so much to offer and are both VERY addictive...
If I had to call one side or the other "Home" ( I hope that day never comes...) I would side with the F-Body camp...Can't ever turn your back on what you were raised with!
What are your plans? And what are you driving? Are you looking to become active in the F-body/Corvette world or is it more of a research/observation "thing" for work?
Good to have you on!

There is a quite a few Girls on the board and the most that I've seen on here have modified rides, some more extreme than others.
I race every season Nov-March and as much as possible like 2-3 times a week during our best weather which is coming up soon.
Welcome and if you have any questions regarding the LS1, you found the right place.

Commonplace for ME, is what I meant... every track I go to - it's all mustangs... Hell I'm waiting for the day when I can't tell a Camaro from a Firebird.
And yeah, We're branching out a little from Hardcore, so my plans are to cover races more close to home. And what better way than to get to know you fine folks and what/where your racing??
BTW... I just wanna add.... that I own a 4.6 T-bird currently but my favorite car was my 86 Camaro, it just wasn't "Momma-friendly" for getting a toddler in and out of the backseat, hahahaha.
And I'm so excited!!! Girls are here and WITHOUT the "new hen in the henhouse" syndrome!!! YAY!!

Exactly what I was thinking.....
Methinks that guy is in WAY left field....
You know what they say... 99% of the time, the accuser is the guilty party.
