hey wats goin on im anthony, most people call me Tony T. im 17 i have a 2002 Z28 camaro. I Just bought it, i have many plans and ideas to go into this car, i would love to hear form all of you with ideas and tips, id appreciate it. my dad dragraced for years and has inspired me, but hes an old fart now and has not much time for me which is too bad because he was a hell of a bracket racer. My Camaro is all stock except a 80 series flowmaster muffler i jsut threw on quick because I already smashed the stock one off, gotta watch out for those gaurdrails lol...alright im out Thanks..And B-Man looking forward to meeting the crew....get back at me thanks!

 

well your gonna hear it alot, so ill start off now, get rid of the flowmaster, they are NO GOOD for ls1's. might sound good, but power wise, they are a no no they do not flow well enough. other than that, welcome to the site, research mods before you do them ( such as the muffler ) good luck.

 

Congrats on the car. Is it auto or M6? That will make a big difference on where you need to put your money. For starters, go with a lid.

new to the site and to the bowtie. I have 3 Mustangs (72, 93, 03) recently purchased a 98 Z28, LS1, M6, black w/ sports appearance package. I like the car so far. I noticed that I speemed to be going faster than my speedomotor indicated. I checked and at 60 mph I travel a mile in 50 sec. So I am 10 - 12 mph off. Does anyone know if this is common or causes?
