Im new to the LS1 scene!!! Hey. I just bought an 02 Z28. I am new to the whole 4th gen scene. I have a 3rd gen that ive been driving around that im going to sell soon to help pay for my new car. But i was wondering what you all think i should do with my new baby on a low budget...also what do you guys suggest for taking care of her?? I know about oil and filter every 3k but i know there is more to taking care of it than that... 
thanks guys. I saw that K&N makes an entire intake for it too, but is that better than just getting a lid a K&N filter? Also the previous owner of my car told me that K&N filters leave a lot of oil on the MAF, so im not sure if he's just a dumbass who oiled the filter too much or if thats a real problem that i might have to deal with?
There's alot of debate on the whole K&N filter oil thing, the general consensus is, there are no real gains from the K&N, they dont filter as well as a paper filter, they are a PITA to clean, and if you oil it too much you get oil on the MAF wires.
